A Great Plains Partnership
Wednesday, October 21st, 2026
Description:
In A Great Plains Partnership, Kansas and Nebraska Adult Protective Services leaders shared how two neighboring mid-size states built a practical, client-centered collaboration rooted in shared history, geography, values, and similar program needs.
As limited budgets and changing federal funding created new challenges, Kansas and Nebraska found creative ways to share resources and training opportunities, compare policies and practices, and strengthen support for the populations they serve.
This session explored how cross-state partnership can expand capacity, promote learning, and demonstrate that we are stronger together.
