GLOBAL SUMMIT RECAP
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) was created in 2006 and held at the United Nations. To mark the 10th anniversary of WEAAD, the National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) was asked to convene the Global Summit and bring together international policymakers, APS workers, advocates, financial service institutions, media, social services organizations, and individuals from all over the world to help address a growing global problem. NAPSA is honored to host this annual event.
