State of APS 2012: A National Baseline Survey of Adult Protective Services

In early 2012, the National APS Resource Center began a comprehensive, state-level survey of APS operations across the U.S. and its territories.  The subsequent report,  completed and published in partnership with the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities (NASUAD), includes data analysis and feedback on the following operational areas:

  • Staffing levels from administration to front-line personnel
  • Clinical assessment tools used
  • Populations served
  • Multi-disciplinary and collaborative efforts
  • Data systems and use of technology
  • Budgets
  • Training
